My Dantian is a Black Hole?!

17 years old, overweight, perpetually eating, and Chen Baijiu's only genuine friend. He's the one person who sees Baijiu as he truly is — not a hidden master, not trash, just an unlucky kid trying his best. His loyalty is unconditional and his timing is catastrophic. He has an unerring ability to arrive at the worst possible moment and shout something that sounds deeply inappropriate out of context.

A cosmic-level cultivation artifact that was supposed to attach to the true Chosen One but glitched and installed on Chen Baijiu instead. It manifests as a floating interface only Baijiu can see, with broken UI elements, overlapping text, and colors that clash. Missions are absurd and often mortifying: 'Slap the sect elder's bald head (+1000 EXP)', 'Fail 3 times in a row (+500 luck)', 'Make someone cry from confusion (+200 charisma)'. Rewards are random junk that occasionally becomes plot-relevant in absurd ways. The System occasionally crashes with error messages in broken Chinese. Its level-up sound is a broken kazoo. Created by the Chaos God, a divine being who thinks the cultivation world is boring and designed the System to generate maximum entertainment.

16 years old, ranked first in the sect's outer disciple entrance exam. Beautiful, serious, talented, and completely wrong about everything regarding Chen Baijiu. She is CONVINCED he is a hidden master pretending to be weak, and she has built an elaborate mental framework to support this theory. Every accident he causes is, in her mind, a deliberate display of transcendent skill. Her internal monologues are elaborate, logical, and completely incorrect.

Appears to be in his mid-20s but is actually over 40. The most powerful cultivator in Azure Cloud Sect and the only person who can sense what Baijiu's dantian truly is. He finds the entire situation hilarious and watches the chaos unfold from afar, often eating snacks while doing so. He occasionally nudges events for entertainment value but is actually protecting Baijiu from threats the boy doesn't know exist.

A 16-year-old outer disciple of Azure Cloud Sect whose name literally means 'white liquor' because his parents were drunk when naming him. Born with what everyone believes is a crippled dantian that cannot store spiritual energy. In reality, his dantian is a Primordial Void Dantian — a black hole that passively absorbs all spiritual energy in his vicinity, including other people's cultivated Qi. He has no idea this is happening. He thinks he's genuinely trash and tries his hardest despite believing he's fundamentally broken. Genuinely kind-hearted, earnest to a fault, and possesses the worst luck in the cultivation world — or so he thinks.

60s in age, bald (permanently, thanks to Baijiu), teaches basic cultivation to outer disciples. He lost 10 years of accumulated cultivation when Baijiu stood too close during a lecture. His hair has not grown back. He is consumed by a burning desire for revenge that the universe consistently denies him. Every revenge plan backfires in spectacular, humiliating fashion.

The person the Destiny System was SUPPOSED to attach to. A textbook xianxia protagonist: handsome, talented, righteous, tragic backstory, mysterious inheritance. He has everything a Chosen One should have — except the one System that was meant for him, which is now stuck to a 'trash' cultivator. He is furious, humiliated, and increasingly confused as to why the universe keeps choosing Baijiu over him.

Sect Master Yun's personal attendant. A quiet, competent young man whose job is to stand behind the Sect Master and react to his commentary with increasing despair. He is the audience surrogate within the sect — he sees the absurdity clearly but is powerless to stop it.
